Os bombeiros foram acionados por volta das 4h30 (hor\u00e1rio local) e equipes de toda a regi\u00e3o de Wairarapa ajudaram no combate \u00e0s chamas.\n<\/p>\n<p>Autoridades analisam v\u00eddeos que circulam na internet, onde um homem assume a autoria dos inc\u00eandios e faz declara\u00e7\u00f5es antirreligiosas e antimonarquistas. Tamb\u00e9m procuram o ocupante de um ve\u00edculo abandonado que pode estar ligado ao caso.<\/p>\n<p>Os inc\u00eandios atingiram pelo menos seis igrejas e a capela de uma funer\u00e1ria. Quatro templos sofreram danos moderados: Anglican Church Of The Epiphany, St. Patrick\u2019s Catholic Church Masterton, Masterton Baptist Church e Equippers Church Masterton. O nome das outras tr\u00eas igrejas n\u00e3o foram revelados. N\u00e3o houve feridos.\n<\/p>\n<p>O prefeito Gary Caffell condenou os ataques e destacou a uni\u00e3o da comunidade para apoiar as igrejas afetadas. O parlamentar Mike Butterick agradeceu \u00e0s autoridades pela r\u00e1pida resposta ao incidente.\n<\/p>\n<p>A pol\u00edcia pede que testemunhas ajudem nas investiga\u00e7\u00f5es e intensificou as patrulhas na regi\u00e3o para garantir a seguran\u00e7a dos moradores.
