O servi\u00e7o de trem ser\u00e1 retomado na ter\u00e7a-feira. <\/p>\n<p>A suspens\u00e3o do servi\u00e7o foi estendida devido a um acidente em cadeia durante a noite envolvendo ve\u00edculos de manuten\u00e7\u00e3o de trilhos ao longo da Ponte Longfellow, disse a ag\u00eancia. <\/p>\n<p>A MBTA informou que, \u00e0s 00h30 de sexta-feira, um ve\u00edculo de constru\u00e7\u00e3o atingiu outro caminh\u00e3o, empurrando-o para um terceiro ve\u00edculo de constru\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p>A MBTA interrompeu o trabalho em toda a \u00e1rea de servi\u00e7o suspensa para avaliar e garantir a seguran\u00e7a dos trabalhadores no local, dos ve\u00edculos de trabalho e da infraestrutura da via. <\/p>\n<p>Os primeiros socorristas levaram o operador do primeiro caminh\u00e3o atingido para um hospital local para avalia\u00e7\u00e3o. <\/p>\n<p>O trabalho na via foi retomado por volta das 9h30 da sexta-feira, informou a ag\u00eancia. <\/p>\n<p>A MBTA notificou o Departamento de Servi\u00e7os P\u00fablicos e a Administra\u00e7\u00e3o Federal de Tr\u00e2nsito sobre o incidente, e a equipe da MBTA est\u00e1 investigando o acidente. <\/p>\n<p>Embora as equipes tenham conseguido retomar o trabalho na sexta-feira de manh\u00e3, a suspens\u00e3o noturna significa que os trabalhadores precisar\u00e3o de mais um dia de fechamento dos servi\u00e7os da Linha Vermelha para concluir o projeto com seguran\u00e7a, disse a MBTA. <\/p>\n<p>O projeto inclui constru\u00e7\u00e3o de trilhos, substitui\u00e7\u00e3o de trilhos, substitui\u00e7\u00e3o de dormentes, linha de superf\u00edcie e compacta\u00e7\u00e3o e fixa\u00e7\u00e3o de placas, entre outros trabalhos essenciais. <\/p>\n<p>O <a href=\"https:\/\/www.boston.com\/news\/local-news\/2024\/08\/18\/red-line-to-close-monday-for-a-week-of-repair-work\/\">servi\u00e7o de transporte gratuito <\/a>continuar\u00e1 durante toda segunda-feira. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cA MBTA entende a natureza s\u00e9ria deste incidente\u201d, disse a ag\u00eancia em um press release. \u201cA equipe da MBTA est\u00e1 trabalhando ativamente ao lado de seus parceiros de supervis\u00e3o para entender por que este incidente ocorreu.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>O fechamento \u00e9 a segunda vez que o servi\u00e7o da Red Line \u00e9 suspenso por v\u00e1rios dias neste ver\u00e3o.
