Quem diria?<\/p>\n<p>Pesquisadores do Programa de Medicina Digital da Faculdade de Medicina da UMass Chan est\u00e3o testando como sensores digitais em um assento sanit\u00e1rio inteligente podem ser usados \u200b\u200bpara coletar dados fisiol\u00f3gicos para monitorar doen\u00e7as como doen\u00e7a inflamat\u00f3ria intestinal, diabetes, hipertens\u00e3o, doen\u00e7a pulmonar obstrutiva cr\u00f4nica e insufici\u00eancia card\u00edaca.<\/p>\n<p>O &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.umassmed.edu\/news\/news-archives\/2023\/06\/umass-chan-digital-medicine-study-uses-smart-toilet-seat-to-monitor-heart-health\/\">Assento do cora\u00e7\u00e3o<\/a>\u201d, feito por <a href=\"https:\/\/casanacare.com\/\">Casana<\/a>ainda est\u00e1 em fase de pesquisa. Os assentos sanit\u00e1rios foram escolhidos porque s\u00e3o uma \u201cparte do h\u00e1bito de todos\u201d, disse o pesquisador principal e codiretor do Programa em Medicina Digital Apurv Soni.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA ideia \u00e9 tentar entender como podemos obter dados das casas dos pacientes enquanto eles chegam para serem atendidos no hospital, para observar sinais e identificar sinais que podem nos dar um alerta precoce de algu\u00e9m ficando doente\u201d, disse Soni ao Boston.com.<\/p>\n<p>O estudo, chamado COMMODE-seat, que significa \u201ccorrelacionar resultados com monitoramento m\u00f3vel usando sensores digitais em um assento\u201d, tem como objetivo coletar sinais de um assento sanit\u00e1rio com sensor incorporado, medindo frequ\u00eancia card\u00edaca, satura\u00e7\u00e3o de oxig\u00eanio e outras medidas biom\u00e9tricas, incluindo press\u00e3o arterial.<\/p>\n<p>Cada paciente participante do estudo poder\u00e1 participar por at\u00e9 um ano, respondendo a pesquisas e usando um aplicativo para monitorar seus sintomas e quaisquer medicamentos.<\/p>\n<p>Soni disse que a ideia de monitoramento remoto de pacientes \u201ctem muito \u00edmpeto\u201d e est\u00e1 se tornando \u201cbastante comum\u201d. <\/p>\n<p>O objetivo do projeto, diz Soni, \u00e9 usar dados da vida di\u00e1ria dos usu\u00e1rios para coletar passivamente dados que podem ser usados \u200b\u200bpara fornecer cuidados.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEstamos em fase explorat\u00f3ria para ver se algum dos dados que coletamos dessa f\u00f3rmula pode ser \u00fatil para informar os cuidados no futuro\u201d, disse ele.<\/p>\n<p>O cofundador e diretor de pesquisa da Casana, Dave Borkholder, PhD, disse em um comunicado que a empresa &#8220;n\u00e3o poderia pedir um parceiro melhor&#8221;
