A pr\u00e1tica ficou conhecida como \u201cbets eleitorais\u201d, e vinha ganhando espa\u00e7o num v\u00e1cuo da lei.<\/p>\n<p>Com a norma aprovada, a Corte decidiu proibir a pr\u00e1tica envolvendo apostas sobre resultados do pleito, deixando claro se tratar de uma conduta irregular.<\/p>\n<p>O TSE pro\u00edbe a realiza\u00e7\u00e3o de enquetes relacionadas ao processo eleitoral, mas n\u00e3o havia qualquer norma que trate especificamente sobre as \u201cbets\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Conforme a ministra C\u00e1rmen L\u00facia, presidente, do TSE, o objetivo \u00e9 garantir um pleito \u201cseguro, transparente\u201d e com respeito aos eleitores.<\/p>\n<p>A magistrada foi a respons\u00e1vel por apresentar a proposta.
