A cidade dos Apalaches no sudeste do Kentucky fica a 146 milhas (235 quil\u00f4metros) a sudeste de Lexington, Kentucky.<\/p>\n<p>Mullins atuou como juiz distrital no Condado de Letcher desde que foi nomeado pelo ex-governador Steve Beshear em 2009 e eleito no ano seguinte.<\/p>\n<p>Mullins era conhecido por promover tratamento de abuso de subst\u00e2ncias para pessoas envolvidas no sistema de justi\u00e7a e ajudou centenas de residentes a entrar em tratamento residencial para pacientes internados, de acordo com um programa para uma c\u00fapula sobre drogas na qual ele falou em 2022.
