Paige, 33, de Duxbury, deveria se declarar culpado no Tribunal Distrital dos EUA em Worcester por tr\u00eas acusa\u00e7\u00f5es de roubo de correspond\u00eancia por um oficial ou funcion\u00e1rio dos correios, de acordo com um <em>Globo de Boston<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bostonglobe.com\/2024\/09\/18\/metro\/mail-carrier-coin-thefts-guilty-plea\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">  relat\u00f3rio<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Em troca da declara\u00e7\u00e3o de culpa de Paige, os promotores disseram que recomendariam que ele recebesse dois anos de liberdade condicional e fosse condenado a pagar US$ 5.100 em restitui\u00e7\u00e3o, al\u00e9m de outras taxas. <\/p>\n<p>Paige foi presa em 2022 e indiciada por tr\u00eas acusa\u00e7\u00f5es de roubo de correspond\u00eancia por um funcion\u00e1rio do Servi\u00e7o Postal, <a href=\"https:\/\/urldefense.com\/v3\/__https:\/\/www.justice.gov\/usao-ma\/pr\/postal-service-employee-arrested-mail-theft__;!!BspMT6SJLSDJ!I9cxCvqV46NSw5xRDL1L9X8RzkOlVHFAg2vM7P8m0nuM8CdJtyhzJIJX1cFoMJq5dWNLmn4Q7mKxHrJeex7DqgsU4yXN%24\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">de acordo com<\/a> para o Gabinete do Procurador dos EUA. Paige trabalhou como carteiro no USPS em Whitinsville desde 2018. <\/p>\n<p>Os promotores dizem que entre janeiro e fevereiro de 2022, Paige roubou moedas de colecionador e outros itens de pacotes que ele foi incumbido de entregar. Al\u00e9m das moedas raras, Paige tamb\u00e9m supostamente roubou um sensor de energia USB. O valor total dos itens era de mais de US$ 5.800, de acordo com o relat\u00f3rio.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPaige disse aos agentes que roubou moedas para cobrir algumas despesas pessoais.
