Antes do meio-dia, uma equipe de resgate respondeu a oito locais de encalhe entre Dennis e Wellfleet.<\/p>\n<p>A equipe conseguiu salvar 10 golfinhos comuns, mas quatro golfinhos adicionais morreram antes da chegada da equipe e dois logo depois.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cVentos fortes, clima frio, ondas desafiadoras e o grande tamanho dos animais contribu\u00edram para uma resposta extenuante com obst\u00e1culos a cada curva\u201d, disse Kira Kasper, bi\u00f3loga e socorrista de resgate de animais do IFAW, em um comunicado. \u201cCom v\u00e1rios encalhes em locais diferentes, cada momento conta.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Os esfor\u00e7os do IFAW come\u00e7aram em Ellis Landing Beach, em Brewster. \u00c0s 8h, o IFAW encontrou mais dois golfinhos comuns encalhados em Sea Street Beach, em Dennis, mas nenhum deles sobreviveu. <\/p>\n<p>Dentro de uma hora, outro golfinho foi relatado encalhado em First Encounter Beach em Eastham, mais dois em Crowes Pastures em Dennis, mais quatro em Herring River Gut em Wellfleet, dois em Mayo Beach e um em Skaket Beach em Orleans. <\/p>\n<p>Os especialistas acreditam que os golfinhos encalhados fazem parte do mesmo grupo.
