Ele est\u00e1 programado para ser sentenciado em 11 de mar\u00e7o.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAlexander Giannakakis optou por destruir provas e ocultar esses crimes de \u00f3dio e por decidir apoiar atos de antissemitismo vil, ele agora \u00e9 condenado e aguarda senten\u00e7a\u201d, disse o procurador interino dos Estados Unidos, Joshua Levy, em um comunicado. \u201c\u00c9 responsabilidade de todas as pessoas no Distrito de Massachusetts denunciar atos de racismo e intoler\u00e2ncia e denunciar crimes de \u00f3dio.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>De acordo com a acusa\u00e7\u00e3o, por volta de fevereiro de 2020, o irm\u00e3o mais novo de Giannakakis tornou-se o principal suspeito numa investiga\u00e7\u00e3o sobre os inc\u00eandios. Na \u00e9poca em que foi apontado como suspeito, o irm\u00e3o de Giannakakis estava hospitalizado em coma e morreu naquele ano.<\/p>\n<p>O primeiro inc\u00eandio ocorreu em 11 de maio de 2019, no Chabad Center em Arlington; a segunda, no mesmo local, em 16 de maio de 2019; o terceiro em um Chabad Center em Needham; e a quarta em 26 de maio de 2019, em uma empresa afiliada a judeus em Chelsea.<\/p>\n<p>Giannakakis foi condenado na Su\u00e9cia por posse ilegal de arma de fogo e outras armas. Ele cumpriu pena em uma pris\u00e3o sueca que terminou em dezembro.
