O homem-bomba da maratona de Boston, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, \u00e9 um dos presos que ainda enfrenta execu\u00e7\u00e3o, ao lado de Dylann Roof e Robert Bowers. Roof foi condenado pelo assassinato de nove membros negros da Igreja M\u00e3e Emanuel AME em Charleston em 2015, em um tiroteio racista. Bowers foi condenado pelo assassinato de 11 fi\u00e9is judeus na Sinagoga Tree of Life em Pittsburgh em 2018, o ataque antissemita mais mortal da hist\u00f3ria dos EUA. <\/p>\n<p>Biden comutou as senten\u00e7as dos outros 37 presos para pris\u00e3o perp\u00e9tua sem possibilidade de liberdade condicional. Tsarnaev, Roof e Bowers n\u00e3o tiveram suas senten\u00e7as comutadas porque seus casos envolviam \u201cterrorismo e assassinato em massa motivado pelo \u00f3dio\u201d, disse Biden em um comunicado.
