A forma\u00e7\u00e3o de co\u00e1gulos sangu\u00edneos causa essa condi\u00e7\u00e3o. A trombose pode evoluir para complica\u00e7\u00f5es graves, como embolia, acidente vascular cerebral (AVC) e infarto.
